We also provide referrals to Spay N Save Animal Clinic in Longwood, FL, for low cost spay/neuter and vaccination of feral, unadoptable cats to help curb the over-population and euthanasia. We are funded entirely through donations and adoption fees and all income goes directly toward the care of the cats.

We have so many kittens right now, and they are hungry.

Not “they could use a snack” hungry. Tiny kittens who are growing, recovering, and trying to survive need food constantly, and we are going through it faster than we can replace it. Every can, every bag, every container of formula is another full belly for a baby who has already started life needing help.

Some of these kittens came to us scared. Some came to us sick. Some were too little to understand anything except that they were hungry and someone finally picked them up. Now it is our job to keep them fed, safe, and growing until they are ready for homes of their own.

We cannot do that without food.

Please help us keep their bowls full. You can send food through our wishlists, make a donation, or bring kitten food directly to us on the weekend at the Oviedo PetSmart. We are there Saturdays from 11–3 and Sundays from 12–3, and we would be so grateful for anything you can drop off.

WARNING: A dangerous outbreak of Panleukopenia (Panleuk) is affecting cats across Central Florida. This highly contagious and often deadly virus attacks a cat’s immune system and spreads quickly, especially among kittens and unvaccinated cats.

Common symptoms include:
🐾 Vomiting
🐾 Diarrhea
🐾 Loss of appetite
🐾 Fever
🐾 Extreme lethargy
🐾 Dehydration

Panleuk can survive in the environment for months and spreads through contact with infected cats, surfaces, bedding, food bowls, and even shoes or clothing.

The best protection is VACCINATION. Vaccinating your cats — even indoor cats — can save their lives and help stop the spread of this devastating disease. If your cat is not up to date, contact your veterinarian or reach out to SPCA Florida Veterinary Clinic as soon as possible.

Please help protect our community cats, shelter cats, and your own furry family members. 💙🐱
