Jones Alternative recently welcomed officers from the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) to our BQRTP residence in the Dr. Phillips area. The visit gave us a chance to highlight our commitment to safety, structure, accountability, and quality care for the youth we serve.

We appreciate their time and feedback, and we look forward to continuing our partnership as we strengthen our program and maintain a residence that supports stability, growth, and positive outcomes.

It was a pleasure welcoming several members of the Intake and Placement Tri-County team from Family Partnerships of Central Florida (FPOCF) to visit one of Jones Alternative’s residential homes.

Their visit provided an opportunity to see firsthand the meaningful work that Marilyn Jones and her dedicated team are doing each day to support and care for the young women placed in the program. From the structured environment to the compassionate support provided by staff, the home reflects a commitment to stability, growth, and opportunity for the residents.

Visits like these help strengthen collaboration between placement teams and providers, ensuring that youth are placed in environments where they can truly thrive.

Thank you to the FPOCF team for taking the time to visit and learn more about the mission and impact of Jones Alternative, Inc. We appreciate the partnership and shared commitment to serving youth in our community.

On November 25, 2025, Jones Alternative opened the doors to our newest BQRTP home in Dr. Phillips, Orlando—created to be a place of safety, healing, and hope for youths who have experienced profound hardship.

In December, we welcomed our first two youths. While many were celebrating the holidays, these young people stepped into a new environment—one built not just on structure, but on compassion, patience, and heart.

These are not “bad kids.” They are youths shaped by circumstances beyond their control. Healing doesn’t happen overnight—it happens through consistency, trust, reassurance, and care. Our team works daily to ensure every youth feels safe, seen, and valued.

At Jones Alternative, we focus on teaching essential life skills—communication, emotional regulation, responsibility, and self-worth—while showing that structure and boundaries are protection, not punishment.

This home is more than a placement. It’s a new beginning. When children are met with love instead of judgment and guidance instead of punishment, change is possible.

Jones Alternative has just opened its third residence and the first BQRTP (Behavioral Qualified Residential Treatment Program) home in Central Florida! This milestone is a testament to their unwavering commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care for youth in need.
