Gopher here! Super excited about this weekend. I am finally able to keep a promise I made to the Legends 3 years ago. When Hovey was shut down and our precious CRC terminated, I vowed to find us another one with as close to the same environment and culture as possible to keep our traditions alive.

This weekend from Friday-Monday, Patches, Frisbee, Thor, Slash, Pebbles, Maximum Overdrive, Fletching, Lizard, Pawn, and Gopher will be working with the Cubs at the Camp Sam Wood CRC thanks to Camp Director Lotus!

This has been a long, arduous, and painful journey but Legends never give up and so here we are, moving forward, staying active, and spreading the joy volunteering provides in our own way and on our own terms.

We went down to camp last weekend and helped prep... the facilities look great! The Nomads set up a rope bridge and Archery Dude will be setting up Action Archery... 2 new programs courtesy of the Hovey Legends.

And now....time to pack!!

Gopher here... I just wanted to let you all know that I am finally keeping the promise I made to the Legends staff the last time we put on a CRC at Hovey...

I am thrilled to announce we will be at Camp Sam Wood to help support the Dittmer legends as they run their Cub Resident Camp event in July 2024!!

Patches and I helped them out last year and the staff and atmosphere reminded me so much of our Hovey CRC experiences, that I was compelled to extend the invite to the rest of the Legends!

For the first time since Hovey closed, the Legends will be running a CRC program again! Camp Director Lotus has accepted us with open arms and we can't wait to help her put on a great event.

Patches, Lizard, Archery Dude, Fletching, and Frisbee are among those continuing our Hovey programs and traditions at camps all across the region and will be staffing CRC over 2 weekends

Session 1 - 7/12 to 7/15
Session 2 - 7/19 to 7/22
