Interested in diving into your property's soil health? The Kansas Soil Health Alliance is looking for students from Northeast Kansas to match with coaches who will review your soils, goals, and management alongside you.

This free program is hosted through the Kansas Soil Health Alliance is leading a soil health coaching network that is supported through a collaborative agreement with Kansas NRCS and the Kansas Association of Conservation Districts,

The purpose of the coaching network is to match experienced soil health growers with those who are in the early stages of incorporating soil health systems. Through the program, coaches visit each student's farm and are available for one-on-one conversations and Q&A. Additionally, Kansas Soil Health Alliance board members serve as advanced resource specialists to help answer student or coach questions. Other benefits offered include a monthly open-discussion webinar, online discussion portal, and soil health education stipend.

Dale Strickler is coming to Atchison County, Friday December 12th!

Come with questions & an appetite, resource tables will be set up to share information, Dale will be taking questions, and a local producer panel will share their experiences with various soil health practices.

Catering provided by Cedar Ridge will offer a full breakfast and boxed lunch options you can take to go or stay for networking! Dessert from Martha's catering will wrap up the day from 1:15- 3:00 PM with a Stakeholder Open meeting.
