☀️ SUMMER PANTRY HOURS ☀️

The school year may be over, but the Blue Valley Food Pantry will remain open during the month of June!

📌 June visits are by appointment only
📌 Clients may visit ONE time during June
📅 We will reopen with regular school year hours the week of August 17

A huge thank you to .elementary for their annual cereal drive! They brought in 526 boxes of cereal 🥣 and snacks to help us get through the summer!!

We couldn't teach our students or feed our community without school food drives like this. Thank you Marksmen!

Something is happening at our food pantry that has never happened before—we are completely out of peanut butter! 🥜

As the school year wraps up, so do our school-led food drives. But the Blue Valley Food Pantry stays open all summer ☀️ and continues serving families in our community.

We could really use your help restocking our shelves with pantry staples before summer begins.

The food drive will run from February 23-27th.

HOW IT WORKS:

* Your last hour core class is your “team”.

* Drop off donations to the Library each morning.

As SNAP benefits are withheld starting Nov. 1 during the government shutdown, some Kansas City-area restaurants will offer free meals.

Did you know we have a donation bin at Blue Valley Recreation's Hilltop location?

We have had so many amazing community members reach out and ask how they can donate and when/where they can drop donations.

We are at the pantry M-F 7:30-2:30 to receive donations. But if those times or days don't work well for you and you'd like to donate, you can always drop your donations in the bin at Blue Valley Recreation, which is next door to the food pantry and open on the weekends and evenings!
