Steps Of Faith is a non-profit public charity dedicated to providing prosthetic care, hope, and comfort to amputees needing financial support.

Steps Of Faith is a nonprofit public charity dedicated to providing prosthetic care, hope, and comfort to amputees needing financial support. Dealing with an amputation can be difficult on a number of levels. If you lack resources to pay for prosthetics, we want to help you. Aside from monetary assistance, we also provide peer counseling, advice, and encouragement from one amputee to another.

Throwback to the closer of our very first Thundergong in 2017! Jason, Will, and friends brought the show to a close with “Takin’ It to the Streets,” covering the Doobie Brothers classic with backing from Summer Breeze. Featuring Brendan Hunt as Elvis Prostello, Fred Armisen on tambourines, and so many of our friends from year one on stage!

After losing her leg due to diabetes, Chenchina wanted to get back to work and continue supporting her disabled daughter.

With help from Steps of Faith, her prosthetist Katy Giekson with Shamrock, and a caring community, Chenchina is back on her feet and moving forward.

Rest in peace, “Mama Bear” Ruth Ward.

Ruth and her son, Madisen, generously donated their time and incredible talent to our very first Thundergong. She brought so much warmth and joy to any stage she was on, along with a beautiful voice that made an unforgettable impression.

Our hearts are with Madisen, their entire family, and everyone who was touched by Ruth and her music. She will be deeply missed.

“I didn’t realize I needed a new leg until I stopped by Hanger Clinic one day for an adjustment and that’s when I was given the news that my old prosthetic leg was no longer useful. I didn’t have the funds or insurance to afford a new one and I didn’t know what to do until Ray Coble of Hanger Clinic connected me to all of you and I am so grateful and thankful for the connection.

We absolutely love having the legendary Al Yankovic in the THUNDERGONG family, and we can’t wait to have him back on stage for another unforgettable night.
