Steps Of Faith is a nonprofit public charity dedicated to providing prosthetic care, hope, and comfort to amputees needing financial support. Dealing with an amputation can be difficult on a number of levels. If you lack resources to pay for prosthetics, we want to help you. Aside from monetary assistance, we also provide peer counseling, advice, and encouragement from one amputee to another.

Update on Linda! 🎓

Back in 2024, we shared Linda’s story at Thundergong. After a life-changing accident at 17, she moved to the U.S. to pursue her dream of becoming a nurse. For 10 years, she endured pain from her prosthetic until, with the support of Steps of Faith, Hanger Clinic, and her care team, she received a new leg and new possibilities.

Now, we’re thrilled to share an update: Linda graduated with her BSN-RN this year! We couldn’t be more excited to watch her step into this next chapter and grateful to have been part of her journey. Congratulations, Linda!

And a special shoutout to her incredible care team: community care coordinator Emily Matloff, Scott Stromberg, CPO, Melissa Barfield, and the entire Hanger Clinic team in Tulsa, who have supported Linda along the way.
