Steps Of Faith is a nonprofit public charity dedicated to providing prosthetic care, hope, and comfort to amputees needing financial support. Dealing with an amputation can be difficult on a number of levels. If you lack resources to pay for prosthetics, we want to help you. Aside from monetary assistance, we also provide peer counseling, advice, and encouragement from one amputee to another.

For Wade, receiving a prosthetic leg means getting back to the life he loves.

An electrical engineer, hockey player, and VFW volunteer, Wade depends on mobility every day, whether he’s climbing in and out of equipment at work or staying active in his community. As Wade puts it, a new leg will impact his life “in every way” and help him return to work and the activities that matter most to him.

Supporting mental health is a vital part of the healing journey for amputees and their overall well-being.

Born with a congenital absence of the fibula and differences in his leg, Alex underwent an amputation at age six. He has spent his life adapting and finding balance "living in a two-legged world" with a positive, determined outlook.

After years of wear and tear, his outdated prosthetic was causing pain and limiting his ability to work and live fully. With help from Steps of Faith and his prosthetist Andy Lopez, CPO at Hanger Clinic, Alex received a new leg, restoring comfort, mobility, and a renewed sense of balance in his everyday life.
