Kisii Special School, a school for students with special needs in Kenya, continues to thrive with access to clean, safe drinking water. Ragwe Mixed Secondary School in Kenya welcomed our team with incredible energy and warmth. Their enthusiasm and commitment to their students make them a strong candidate for a future water system. Located right on Lake Victoria, the school relies on the lake as their main water source, one that can pose serious health risks if left untreated.

The Agua Viva team plans to return to sign a covenant with leaders in the school very soon, hoping to provide them with a water purification system and the Agua Viva health and hygiene education program in 2027.

Agua Viva is committed to filling 50% of its U.S. positions with women, and we encourage communities we partner with to promote women and mothers as system operators and health educators.
