Troop 122 contingent attended! Remembering the Order of the Arrow’s 100th anniversary celebration in 2015, specifically the 2015 National Order of the Arrow Conference (NOAC).

It was held August 3–8, 2015, at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. More than 15,000 Arrowmen attended, making it the largest NOAC up to that point.

Always important to reflect on the value of this journey to Eagle & the long term benefits. Link to the results of the Eagle Scout "Harris Poll" in the comments.

If you are around on Memorial Day, this is a great service activity to get back to the Kansas City area and those who have served. Please see below.

This Memorial Day, we are looking for members of scouting organizations to lay 441 wreaths at the 2026 Memorial Day ceremony on Monday, May 25 – one for each of the 441 Kansas Citians who died in the Great War.

All scouting organizations (all affiliations and ages) are invited to register to participate in this civic event during the Museum and Memorial's Centennial year.

➡️ Scout leaders: Please fill out this form to register your group: https://www.theworldwar.org/2026-memorial-day-wreath-laying

Our fellow scouter, Addison J Roberts, lost his battle with Huntington’s Disease and a traumatic brain injury on March 6, 2026, just a week after celebrating his 35th birthday. He was a member of Troop 122, reaching the level of Life Scout and was a proud member of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say.

Mr Robertson, Mr Sweeney and Mr Himmelberg recall Addy as being a bright light in our troop back in the day, and recall his strong bond with Kevin Sweeney.

More info:

Celebrate the life of Addison Roberts, leave a kind word or memory and get funeral service information care of Mt Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home.
