Its objectives are to provide a common platform to all members living in the Greater Kansas City Area for pursuing their common goals and sharing their concerns while

promoting joint efforts in the social, cultural and educational activities of the members. IAKC conducts several activities through the year that foster community interaction, provide entertainment, showcase local talent, undertake community service and contribute towards building our collective image & identity. Calling all pet lovers!

If you have a soft spot for wagging tails, happy purrs, and giving back to animals in need, we have two special events just for you!

July 25 – Craft for Critters
IAKC kids and Yuva volunteers are participating in a workshop where they create blankets, toys, and towels that will bring comfort and enrichment to shelter cats and dogs.

July 31 – Care for Critters
Take part in an educational visit to Wayside Waifs, where we’ll learn about animal care, shelter operations, and donate the handmade items directly to the animals who need them most.

Whether you’re an animal lover, a family looking for a meaningful activity, or someone who wants to make a difference in the lives of shelter pets, we’d love to have you join us. Together, let’s turn compassion into action and help make tails wag a little brighter!

Come join us for the YUVA (IAKC Youth Group) meetup today at 3:00 PM at Blue Valley Library!

If you’re interested in learning more about what YUVA does, and/or if your child is currently 10 years or older and will be eligible to join YUVA next year, we’d love to have them join us today. They do not need to be current YUVA members to attend this meeting.

Our YUVA members will be discussing upcoming activities for the rest of the year, including the Health Fair, India Fest, and IAKC scholarships. You’ll also learn how your kids can be part of the India Fest YUVA booth and get a hands-on experience in volunteering and engaging with the community at a large event.
