Catch the Arizona D-Backs vs. the Kansas City Royals at Jewish Heritage Night with Jewish Experiences KC, a collaboration of Jewish Federation and The J.

On Tuesday, Sept. 8 join us for a Vaad-supervised kosher community tailgate inside the stadium beginning at 5 p.m. and the game at 6:40pm.

As a thank you to our incredible community, The J KC - Jewish Community Center, Jewish Federation, and Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Kansas City are pleased to provide complimentary tailgate access for all who participated in The JCC Maccabi Games as host families, volunteers, or athletes.

Last Sunday, our Kansas City Lions of Judah gathered for high tea!

We spent the afternoon celebrating the lasting impact these extraordinary women have made on our community and reflecting on each philanthropic journey that brought these Lions together. Thank you to everyone who joined us for your generosity and continued dedication to the Jewish community!

Last week, Kansas City's Jewish community welcomed over 2,000 athletes, coaches, and visitors for the JCC Maccabi KC Games, and among them were athletes and chaperones from our sister cities.

24 athletes from the Gezer region in Israel and their 4 chaperones
4 Romanian athletes and 1 chaperone
8 Bulgarian athletes and 2 chaperones

These teens had an unforgettable time competing, meeting teens from around the world, exploring Kansas City and building strong relationships with our community. Our Gezer teens also had a learning opportunity with City of Leawood, KS Government, which is also a sister city to the Gezer region.

In addition to an amazing cultural experience, our sister city athletes brought home medals. Gezer's 5x5 basketball team won a silver medal, our Bulgaria duo won silver in dance, and one of our sister city swimmers placed as well.

Thank you to the volunteers, donors, an especially the host families who made this all possible!

Last week, our Women's Philanthropy group joined JCC Maccabi KC to volunteer with the JCC Cares program, helping athletes in town for the games give back to the community through services projects.

Thank you to all the women who joined us at this group volunteering opportunity, and at other shifts throughout the week to make the Maccabi Games a success!

Athletes from Kansas City's sister communities are playing with team KC in the JCC Maccabi Games!

Last week, over 120 women joined Jewish Federation for Mah Jongg & Mingle!

Not only did this intergenerational group have a blast, they also overflowed a barrel of feminine hygiene products for JFS of Greater Kansas City (Jewish Family Services).
