This Pursuit brings together a panel of single mothers who will openly share their journeys and personal strategies for maintaining inner peace amid the complexities of single motherhood. Moms will gain spiritual insights and practical tips for staying grounded in God’s Word, establishing peaceful routines, and nurturing their own emotional well-being. This program aims to inspire and equip single moms with spiritual tools and encouragement to help them find calm, resilience, and hope, even during overwhelming times.

Our volunteers have always been are our greatest companions when it comes to walking alongside single moms! We would like to invite you to be a part of this impactful event by getting involved through service. Meet Jodie Maddox! Jodie is the Director of Field Experience and Evaluation for the School of Education at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri, she is an author, and a certified Parent Coach from the Parent Institute in Bellevue, Washington. She has the privilege of working with educators and parents as a coach and consultant throughout the United States and specializes in working with individuals who desire growth and change for themselves and the people in their care.

Jodie’s experience as an educator includes over 28 years in public and private schools, working with students, teachers and parents in preschool, elementary, middle, and high school. She was a building principal at both the elementary and high school levels. In 2022, she earned her coaching certificate and started her own coaching and consulting firm.

We are excited to see everyone next Wednesday to kick-off the new school year at our special August Pursuit - Parenting: Loving & Caring When Children are Anxious.
