Pursuing a college education involves far more than tuition alone. Many students are also responsible for covering clinical fees, textbooks, required tools, special clothing and shoes, parking passes, certification exams, and even daily meals on campus.

Through the Reda Educational Foundation, scholarships help ease the financial burden of these essential expenses so students can remain focused on their education and future goals. By supporting the full student experience, REF is committed to helping remove barriers and create opportunities for long-term success.

Education has always been about more than a job title. In a world where we are increasingly told that college is not as necessary, it is worth pausing to imagine what it would look like if access to education disappeared altogether. Learning builds confidence, creates stability, and opens doors that once felt out of reach. Those ripple effects extend far beyond one person, shaping families, communities, and futures. REF scholarships are designed to meet students where they are. Awards are given individually, with up to $5,000 per year for middle school students and up to $10,000 per year for high school and college students. Beyond funding, REF helps scholars search for additional scholarships and navigate financial aid, with a strong focus on closing funding gaps so students can avoid education-related debt. Eligible applicants are first-generation college students, Pell Grant eligible, enrolled or planning to enroll full time and in person, with a minimum 2.5 GPA and completed FAFSA documentation. Today is one of those days that reminds us why this work matters. We’re grateful for every student who trusts us with their dreams, every family who believes in what education can open up, and every supporter who makes opportunity possible where it once felt out of reach.
