Happy Learning Kits for Kansas Happy Learning Kits hopes to help kids in underserved areas have access to fun educational activities over the summer to prevent the "summer slide".

Hi my name is Gabi- welcome to my page! I started Happy Learning Kits due to all the change and chaos in 2020. Besides having to learn differently and embrace new challenges, it really opened my eyes to my larger community. I wanted to find a way to give back. Through Happy Learning Kits, I hope to help kids in underserved areas have access to fun educational activities over the summer to prevent

the “summer slide". What's the summer slide? This is a decline in reading ability and other academic skills that can occur over the summer months when school is not in session. Research has shown that students' can lose one full month of learning over the summer break. These kits will help keep brains busy and active all summer long!

My heart is SO full! I couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who contributed to my project this year. Without your generous donations this wouldn’t be possible. It is always fun to see the kids’ faces light up and get ready for a fun learning filled summer ahead.

Milestone moment for Happy Learning Kits!! Delivery day number ✋is right around the corner. So thankful to everyone that has donated to Happy Learning Kits this year with a huge shout out to the BVSW Math NHS. They love numbers and we love these numbers: 1000 kits made= 5000 books + 1000 flash cards, coloring books, workbooks, puzzles, and reading buddies!!
