There’s a lot to love about golf! The challenge of the game, the fresh air, the time away from screens, and perhaps most of all, the people you meet along the way.

At Watson Links, we believe golf is even better when it’s shared. A 9-hole mentoring round creates opportunities to learn, laugh, build confidence and make connections that can last well beyond the final hole.

🚶‍♀️🏌️‍♂️ Walk-tober is here, and we’re taking it to the fairway.

A mentoring round can be more than time spent on the course. When conditions and pace of play allow, walking instead of riding can add steps, fresh air and movement to the day, all while creating more time to talk, connect and enjoy the game together.

From tee box to green, every step taken together is part of the experience. 💚

What a comeback! 🇺🇸🏆⛳

Congratulations to Team USA on an unforgettable Presidents Cup victory at Medinah!

There were so many incredible moments throughout the weekend, but we particularly love this one of 21-year-old rookie Jackson Koivun coming through in a big moment, with his teammates celebrating right alongside him.

A great reminder that golf is better when you have someone in your corner. ❤️

Throughout July, 8 juniors and 8 mentors hit the fairways at Milburn Country Club in Kansas City for a weekly 9-hole scramble blending fun, course etiquette, community, and friendly competition.

Special shoutout to our low duo Dallas M. and Josh C. for taking top honors! Dallas walked away with a Themed TaylorMade Staff Bag and a signed Tom Watson Masters flag 🏆

Huge thanks to Milburn Country Club for giving Watson Links players this incredible access and opportunity, and thank you to everyone who played.

Huge shoutout to the Rochester District Golf Association, a first-year Watson Links playing partner!

RDGA is doing incredible work growing the game and introducing golf to junior players who may not have access to the game.

We’re lucky to team up with partners who find creative ways to use our grant funds to maximize impact and program ideas to champion new opportunities for golf mentoring!

🏌️‍♀️✨ Our final Golf with Us Day of Play driven by Watson Links brought juniors and golf mentors together in Indianapolis for a day filled with meaningful conversations, new connections and quality time on the course.

We’re grateful to be part of Bank of America’s Golf with Us which makes these experiences possible and brings the power of mentorship to more youth across the country.

A special thank you to Frederick Douglass Golf Course and Indy Parks and Recreation for welcoming our Watson Links community, and to First Tee - Indiana for connecting local junior golfers and mentors with this opportunity.

The day was made even more special by incredible guests, including Super Bowl champion and sports analyst Jeff Saturday and WNBA legend Tamika Catchings, who shared their time and encouragement with the next generation.

And a very special thank you to Annika Sorenstam for leading our juniors through a post-round clinic and sharing her knowledge, passion and perspective. Opportunities to learn from and be inspired by those who have paved the way are what make days like this so meaningful.

Indianapolis was the perfect way to close out our 2026 Golf with Us Days of Play with Bank of America. ⛳

Today, we celebrate one of golf’s greatest champions, who is a leader and believer in the power of golf mentoring to create opportunities for the next generation.

Through Watson Links, Tom’s passion for the game brings young people and caring adult mentors together for free 9-hole rounds. From sharing lessons learned on the course to building confidence, connection and community, his vision is helping open doors for juniors across the country.

Happy Birthday, Tom! Thank you for everything you have given to the game, and for the impact you continue to make. Here’s to another year of creating golf mentoring opportunities that help grow the game, driving community connections, and inspiring the next generation of golfers. 💙⛳️
