A heartfelt thank you to Roadside Heroes for donating their time and muscle to get our canned food to the pantry after Cans for Humanity! 💛

These wonderful young men were so patient and kind throughout all the lifting and hauling. I’m truly grateful for the care they brought to the work.

We had a wonderful time packing meals together tonight at Bayview Church for the children we serve. 💙

After seeing our community come together for Cans for Humanity, it means so much to see those donations becoming meal packs that children can take home to eat when they’re not in school.

I’m so grateful for every person who gave their time and heart—donating food, collecting cans, building a design, or helping pack tonight. Each of you is part of the care that reaches a child.

Grateful for the opportunity to share my story with the seventh graders at Águeda Johnston Middle School today. 💙 Thank you to Colleen, the school social worker, and Principal Agnes A. Guerrero for welcoming me and making this time possible. And thank you to the students for being so respectful and listening with such kindness.

I shared some of the struggles I walked through, the lies I once believed about myself, and how my faith helped me understand that I am loved, valuable, and created with a purpose. That is the heart behind Be Heartfelt—and what I want every child to know.

We also talked about the resources Be Heartfelt has available, because no child should have to carry their struggles alone.

Our experiences and past choices do not have to define our future. Each new day is an opportunity to choose differently.

My hope is that every student left knowing they matter, help is available, and their story is still being written. 💙

What a meaningful way to kick off this year’s Cans for Humanity! 🇺🇸💙

The U.S. Marines at Camp Blaz and their base community collected 2,749 cans—a 402% increase over last year! Each can will help us provide meal packs to children in Guam experiencing food insecurity.

Camp Blaz’s support reflects the Marine Corps’ commitment to dignity, belonging, and community care. For the children we serve, those values become something tangible: food to carry them through the weekend and the reassurance that their community cares about them.

I am humbled and grateful to walk alongside you in this work. Children don’t always tell us when they are hungry, but together we can show them they are seen, loved, valuable, and worthy of care.
