Thank you to the Johnson County Human Service Fund, sliding scale therapy/counseling **in Korean** is available through Fountain of Life for residents of Johnson County, Kansas.

Your mental health is important. Healing begins with empowerment. Come get the support that you need to thrive. ❤

Services available for individuals of all income levels. Health insurance not required.

We are so grateful for partnerships that grow and last!

Biggest shout out to Cosmo Burger for supporting Fountain of Life during AANHPI Heritage Month in both May 2024 and May 2026!  Both years, Cosmo Burger collaborated with local chefs to offer a special Smash Burger ✴️ 🍔 ✴️to raise funds for Fountain of Life! In 2024 Chef James Chang of jchang.kitchen shared his culinary talent 🔥and in 2026 Chef Lisa with Kimchi and Bap shared her talent! 🥬Two years ago, Goat and Rabbit also had a social cocktail menu benefitting Fountain of Life! 🍸

Thank you again so much to the entire 916 Hospitality Group! ❤️❤️❤️ Total funds raised from these efforts exceed $1,000! ❤️❤️❤️

Do you live in or around Overland Park, KS? Are you due or overdue for a breast cancer screening? 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝘀!

Mammograms will be available at our health and cancer screening event on Saturday, July 18th in Overland Park!

To register for a mammogram, call Chavely at 913-945-7864. If you do NOT have insurance, the MCA will cover the cost of the mammogram. If you have insurance, the mammogram will be billed to your insurance.

🟡Our second Golden Years Story Circle on 6/22 was incredibly meaningful!🟡

⭐Kar Woo shared his story of immigrating from Hong Kong to America at age 19 and establishing the social service nonprofit Artists Helping The Homeless in 2008. Widely known as the “safety net of the safety net,” thousands of homeless community members have been served by AHH’s housing services and wraparound supports.

⭐Rebecca Tsang, co-founder of Fountain of Life, shared about her experiences serving as a social worker in Taiwan, immigrating to America to pursue graduate studies mental health and then working as a certified social worker in New Jersey prior to relocating to Kansas City.

Both of these community heroes are still embracing life to it’s fullest and serving community members with great empathy passion during their Golden Years!

Our next Golden Years Story Circle gathering will be Monday 7/6 1:00-3:00 p.m.
