🌟 **FUTURE LEADER FEATURE!** 🌟

Meet Campbell Wood!💚

Campbell may be a kindergartner, but she’s already been part of the 4-H family for 5 years!🐰 She’s a Clover Kid at Eisenhower and also a huge part of the Pleasant U & I Sodbusters 4-H Club!

One of Campbell’s favorite 4-H memories is showing her rabbit, Pancake! 🐇🥞 Her favorite drink was the little Soccer Ball Cokes, and when asked why people should join 4-H, Campbell says:

**“It’s fun and compassionate!”** ❤️

We absolutely love seeing our youngest members grow, learn, make friends, and become the future leaders of 4-H! We can’t wait to see all the amazing things Campbell does as she continues her 4-H journey! 🌟

Keep shining, Campbell! We’re so proud to call you one of our future leaders! 💚🐰

🌟 VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT! 🌟

Randy Conrad is another one of those behind-the-scenes guys who has been helping out for a LONG time!

Randy started volunteering with 4-H around the time of the very first Expo at Greater Ottumwa Park — 1997, we think! 😉 His oldest was a 2nd-year 4-H member, and apparently he just kept showing up and helping!

🛠️ Favorite memory?
Working with the kids as a helper at the woodworking workshops during Expo. I think that's a pretty good memory to have — getting to work with the kids and seeing what they come up with!

💚 Fun fact:
When Randy's kids joined 4-H, it was a whole new experience for him because he didn't participate in 4-H growing up! So he jumped into something new right along with his kids!

And why does Randy think others should volunteer?

“4-H is a valuable learning experience for kids and adults too! It helps build a sense of community and encourages leadership.”

YES! 👏

Sometimes volunteering isn't about being front and center. Sometimes it's just showing up, helping where you're needed, working with the kids, and being part of making things happen.

Randy, thank you for all the years you've spent helping 4-H and Expo behind the scenes! We sure appreciate you! 💚
