It has been a busy summer at Rippling Waters, and we are grateful for our ongoing partnership with Ottumwa Job Corps!

Students have been gaining practical, work-based learning experience through several of our local housing projects. At 401 South Ward, they have assisted with pouring concrete, building a new deck, and completing landscaping work. They are also beginning demolition work at 405 South Ward to prepare the home for our next rehabilitation project.

We are proud to partner with Ottumwa Job Corps to provide local students with real-world, hands-on experience while continuing our efforts to revitalize neighborhoods across Ottumwa.

🎉 Big news for Jefferson Street🎉

We're officially launching Jefferson Street Ignited!
For the past three years, the 'Ignited' program has invested $175,000 and brought 39 projects to life in Ottumwa neighborhoods. Now we're bringing that same energy to Jefferson Street.
If you own property on Jefferson Street between East Fourth Street and East Pennsylvania Avenue, you could receive up to $5,000 for exterior home improvements. All it takes is a $250 contribution or 10 volunteer hours with a participating nonprofit to access funds.
Funding is limited, so don't wait long to apply!
