Please keep the staff of O'Connell's RV Park in Amboy in your prayers tonight. O'Connell's has always been an avid supporter of ORS by donating annually to our Quarter Auction. Most have heard by now that the 3-6 inches of rain that inundated their area in a very short time caused the Green River to come out of its banks and flood the campground very quickly. More than 250 people were evacuated today. Countless vehicles, campers, and golf carts have suffered significant damage, but at last report, no one was injured or killed. We have all seen this happen first hand here in the Illinous Valley more times than anyone wants to remember. We know the destruction that comes from flood waters. They are not yet ready for help cleaning up as they are waiting for the water to recede, but please keep your ears open when they are and help if you can. ORS extends deep prayers to all who were effected today.
