Students were front and center with questions for the panelists. Community members were invited and the conversation was recorded to be broadcasted on the local KOFO radio station. Gwartney Affiliate Scholar, Professor Jon Jacobsen was the ring leader for this event creating a great environment to learn about the project details.

This past weekend, Ottawa University students had the opportunity to attend the Humanomics Symposium at Creighton University. In addition, Dr. Russ McCullough and Dr. Michael Thomas hosted a podcast featuring guest speakers Dr. Mark Koyama (George Mason University) and Dr. Stefanie Haeffele (Mercatus Center).
Throughout the event, students were highly engaged, listening closely as faculty and speakers shared insights on today’s global landscape and key economic issues. It was an enriching experience that sparked thoughtful conversations and deeper curiosity about the world around us.

This Saturday, we finished our firepit chat with Dr. Dave Hebert at Dr. Russ McCullough’s house. Students are attentively listening to what Dr. Dave Hebert has to say in regard to the limited government and as to why government plays a crucial role in this world. Not only discussion, but we also get to enjoy some food with a good weather.
