Franklin County, KS, Genealogical Society We organized to promote interest in genealogical and historical study and research. We are a subsidiary of the Franklin County Historical Society. We can help!

Are you doing genealogical research in Franklin County? If you are coming to Ottawa, one of our volunteers could meet you at the Ottawa Library to help you get acquainted with the genealogical resources.

If you are not visiting Ottawa, we can conduct research for you. Contact us by e-mail or postal mail and let us know what kind of help you need. Specific requests ("Where did Bob Smith live in 1

920?") are preferable and yield better results than general requests ("Please send anything you can find on the Smith family."). We ask $10.00 per hour for our time. Please make checks or money orders payable to:
