Honouring Truth. Remembering. Reconnecting.

At Odyssey Showcase, we believe in the power of artists, music, dance, storytelling, and culture to bring people together.

Our work celebrates artists from all cultures, backgrounds, and traditions — creating opportunities to share, listen, learn, and connect.

Today, we reflect on the truth and history behind National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, honour Survivors and their families, and remember why listening and learning matter.

This moment — the drum and the shofar — reflects the spirit of what we strive to create: space for different voices and traditions to be heard, respected, and shared. (Video link in bio)

We remember. We listen. We learn. We commit to doing better.

As we recognize National Indigenous History Month, Odyssey Showcase honours the enduring cultures, traditions, leadership, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples.

Our organization was founded on the belief that understanding grows through conversation, learning, and the willingness to hear perspectives different from our own. That belief is especially important as we continue the work of reconciliation.

We acknowledge that reconciliation is not a destination but an ongoing commitment: one that calls on all Canadians to learn, reflect, and act.

We are grateful for the Indigenous leaders, educators, artists, Elders, and community members who continue to share knowledge and guide pathways toward greater understanding.

Today, on International Women’s Day, Odyssey Showcase proudly recognizes and celebrates the remarkable contributions of women across industries, communities, and generations.

Women continue to shape the world through leadership, innovation, advocacy, and service. From entrepreneurs and professionals to caregivers, educators, artists and community builders, their work strengthens organizations, drives progress, and inspires future leaders.

At Odyssey Showcase we are honoured to spotlight women whose dedication, vision, and resilience are making a meaningful impact. Their stories remind us that progress is built not only through individual achievement, but through collaboration, mentorship, and the willingness to lift others along the way.

Today we celebrate the women who lead, the women who build, the women who advocate, and the women who quietly create change every day.

Your contributions matter. Your leadership matters. Your stories matter.

Happy International Women’s Day!

This Black History Month, Odyssey Showcase proudly re-introduces Justice on Tap / Justice de Cabaret — a six-part anti-racism educational web series that goes beyond history to inspire authentic change.

This compelling series is part of Canada Speaks in Diverse Ways / Les voix du patrimoine / Aki
Animitagozig, exploring diverse Canadian experiences through music, law, dance, regalia, and storytelling.

Named for the 1939 Christie v. York Tavern case — where Fred Christie was denied service because he was Black — Justice on Tap reminds us that change begins with understanding.

Discover. Reflect. Join the conversation.

We are seeking partners, collaborators, and funding opportunities to continue sharing stories that unite us all.
