The Starved Rock Country Community Foundation (SRCCF) is a 501(c)3 organization as designated by the IRS and the state of Illinois. Your financial contributions are tax-deductible in accordance with IRS guidelines. We are a grant-making public charity dedicated to improving the lives of people in LaSalle, Bureau and Putnam Counties. Our goal is to bring together the financial resources of individuals, families and businesses to support effective non-profit agencies and other local charitable initiatives; to create and manage scholarships for local students and to provide philanthropic leadership throughout the communities we serve. Today is Donor-Advised Fund Day! A Donor-Advised Fund is a charitable investment account established for the sole purpose of supporting the organizations you care about. Donor-Advised Funds are the most flexible and can be started by any individual or corporate entity.
How do Donor-Advised Funds work?
1. Donation: A donor makes an irrevocable, tax-deductible donation to SRCCF to created a Donor-Advised Fund.
2. Investment: The funds are invested by a professional investment firm (net gain is also tax-free).
3. Grants: The donor may recommend grants to qualified public charities of his or her choice.

It's time to Give Gather, and Grow!
Join us on Monday, October 19 from 5:30-7:30 pm at Clark's Run in Utica as we hear from the WIN grant finalists. Tickets are $25 per person and there will be a buffet catered by Chef Sara, along with lemonade, iced tea, water, and a cash bar. RSVP and prepayment are required by Wednesday, October 14. WIN grant submissions are open to nonprofit organizations offering programs that empower and enhance the lives of women and children in the Starved Rock Country region through September 30, 2026. Applications may be submitted at https://www.srccf.org/women-inspired-network-grants.
