Support our young entrepreneurs as they compete for cash prizes and a chance to represent Franklin County at the state competition this April.

The Franklin County Entrepreneurship Community and the Franklin County Development Council hold a Youth Entrepreneurship Contest every year. This contest is open to students in Franklin County from 6th – 12th grade.

The students compete in four areas. They provide a written business plan, make a formal presentation, provide an elevator speech, and man a tradeshow display. All of these are judged, and the winners receive cash prizes. 1st Place is $1,000, 2nd Place is $750, and 3rd Place is $500. But you can come to help a lucky team win $100.

This event is a come-and-go event, and while you're there, you can vote for your favorite trade show presentation and that team will win $100. In addition, you can watch formal presentations, and meet youth that represent the best of our community. Plus, we will have food and drinks for everyone!
