The Quattrini Dehm VFW Post 5885 Auxiliary and the Oswego County Joseph P. Dwyer Peer Mentor Program will be hosting a Veterans food drive on 11/18 from 4:30-6:30pm, and 11/19 from 2-4pm. We will be distributing food to Veterans on both days. Veterans will pull in to the parking lot, present your DD214 or any other form of veteran identification, we give you the food, and you drive away happy. See flyer for contact information.

Thank you to everyone who came out for the fire for affect bowling event this past Saturday night at the Lakeview Lanes in Fulton. We had a great time and lots of camaraderie. And a huge thank you to everyone that works in the kitchen for preparing our food and our drinks. You all did a fantastic job.

Super Dirt Week is in the books. Thank you to everyone who came out and attended the salute to the troops event at the Oswego Speedway this past Friday. Thank you for hanging in there with all of the changes and getting bounced around. We made it work and everything went well. A HUGE Thank You to Grant Swanson for making this happen for us veterans. We appreciate you very much !!! I hope to see you all out there next year.

The next Certification class will be on 11/07/2026 at 9AM at the ERTC in Oswego located at 720 E Seneca St, Oswego, NY 13126. You MUST RSVP by 11/02/2026 at 4PM. For those of you who signed up for the event this Friday. I will be at the “BOX OFFICE” which is to the far-left side of the front stretch at 11:00am. Please respond to via email to let me know when you plan to be there so I can get you your tickets. [email protected]. The Salute to the Troops 150 starts at 7PM. The schedule for Friday is shown below. When you get there, please text my cell phone at 315-746-2433 to let me know you are at the box office so I can either bring you your tickets or the box office will give you your tickets when you check in. Please have your ID ready for verification. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me.

Today is the last day to sign up for the CPR/First Aid/AED certification class. You must sign up by 4pm today. The names of all participants that have signed up will be turned in to the ERTC instructor tomorrow morning. Again, we will meet at the lower parking lot at 7:45. We had an awesome night of bowling this past Saturday night at the Lighthouse Lanes in Oswego for the "Rolling Thunder" bowling event. we had 19 participants. A HUGE thank you to everyone that came out for this event and a HUUUUGE thank you to the bowling alley staff who took great care of us with the Pizza, wings, and soft drinks. Thank you all soo much.
