Saturday, October 4th marks the annual Oktoberfest Fly-In at the Union County Airport, Marysville Ohio, KMRT. 11am - 3:30pm for great, authentic German food by A Cut Above Schnitzel. Plenty of WWII airplanes to view including the B-25 Champaign Gal! Ever been up close to a T-28 Trojan? Come early and stay late. Free admission!

The Freedom Fly-in is this Saturday July 19, 2025 — Marysville, OH. Union County Airport (KMRT), 760 Clymer Rd, Marysville, OH 43040. (https://www.unioncountyohio.gov/Airport-Authority). Our annual Fly-In saluting our military! See WWI replicas, WWII airplanes and possibly some re-enactors and military vehicles. Enjoy the day with Triple P Barbeque Co. The Union County airport has a covered outdoor eating area, capacity for up to 50 planes at a time to park on the ramp. The Commemorative Air Force CAF Buckeye Wing will be meeting and have their WWII PT-26 airplane on static display. Come for BBQ and stay for living history. Fly in early as there is always a big crowd. Free admission!

A big day for my home airport, the Union County Airport - KMRT, Marysville, Ohio. Ground breaking for our new 15 unit T-Hangar and celebrating the FAA certification of our beautiful grass runway after completing obstacle and safety improvements.

Saturday, June 14 - Come on over to the Union County Airport - KMRT, Marysville, Ohio for a great BBQ lunch featuring Triple P Barbeque Co! https://www.triplepbarbeque.com The Union County airport has a covered outdoor eating area, capacity for up to 50 planes at a time to park on the ramp and the local aviation groups will also be supporting the event. EAA Chapter 1629 will be giving Young Eagles rides. The Commemorative Air Force CAF Buckeye Wing will be meeting and have their WWII PT-26 airplane on static display. BBQ exceptional taste, quality, and satisfaction. Free admission!

We haven't posted in awhile, but N8549, Baby Smuf, completed a very thorough annual, lots of fixes, and is back supporting the club members. Additionally, the grass runway at Union County Airport-KMRT, Marysville, Ohio is looking better than ever. Looking for a tailwheel add-on? Check us out!

The Buckeye Tailwheel Club is looking for a couple CFIs. Qualified CFIs must have at least 100 hours instructing in tandem seat tailwheel aircraft to apply. PM me if interested for full details. The club operates a 1972 Citrabria 7KCAB. We are based at KMRT, Union County Airport, Marysville.
