Dear Friends,

We are excited to announce that the first annual Bill Powers Celebratory Golf Tournament will be held at the Wianno Club in Osterville, MA on Friday, October 4th 2019. This golf tournament will be in partnership with Dana- Farber and the Jimmy Fund to raise money for Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL). Bill passed away due to complications with CLL in March of 2018 and we feel very strongly about helping to raise money for this disease. Dana- Farber was amazing to work with and they are the best at what they do. Bill loved to play golf and we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate his life and honor his memory.

The golf tournament will be a scramble format with a 10:00 a.m. shotgun start. All skill levels of golf are welcome to play and we will have more information on foursomes soon. Everyone that attends the golf tournament will be invited back to the Wianno Club on Sea View Avenue for a late lunch/early dinner. There we will wrap up all golf tournament results and relax ocean-side for some fun. Even if you are not playing golf, you are more than welcome to join us at the Club for the festivities - families and kids are welcome!

This is just our first official “Save the Date” for this event. We will be sending out information regarding sponsorship and the pricing for either golf/dinner or just dinner in the next week or so. Please share this with any family or friends!
