We depend on you to help us help others! Along with in-kind donations of new or gently used toys, books, craft items, and games, we also appreciate monetary donations.

We are currently asking for donations related to Valentine's, Easter, and prom. Do you have any partial Valentine's sets from years past you'd be willing to part with? Any Easter baskets, stuffed bunnies, or chicks? How about prom dresses just collecting dust in your closets? Please consider donating them to Conway Caring Community; we will get them into the hands of children! Thanks for helping us help others.

As always, we will gladly take non-holiday-specific toys, books, craft items, and children's clothing.

Trying to keep busy on this first of what will be many snow days. Adding to my Etsy store with stationery (note card) sets made from repurposed children's books. Maybe the teacher, librarian or book lover in your life needs one!

Thank you! Because of your donations, thoughts, and prayers, we assisted 15 families in finding holiday gifts, gift-wrapping supplies, books, toys, games, and basic needs.

Our next chapter will do the same for birthdays, where we will give parents access to the store again for gifts, and hopefully provide decorations, a cake mix, and a pan or cupcake liners.

Additionally, Valentine's Day and Easter will be here before we know it, when we will open up the store once again for families to fill Easter baskets and search for Valentine Cards.

We are looking for donations of new or gently used toys, books, Valentine Card Sets, stuffed animals (especially Valentine/Easter-related), and children's crafting supplies. Monetary donations would be welcome as we purchase shelving, organizational tools, and other items to assist with this newest endeavor.

Finally, while we currently have a temporary home in the Spillville Public Library, we are still looking for a permanent location for storing and distributing toys in the Northeast Iowa area. Ideally, we would like to locate in Ossian, Calmar, Spillville, or Festina; however, we would look at other locations if a low or no-rent possibility were available.

The Conway Caring Holiday Store has a home! Thank you Ruth @ the Spillville Public Library for housing our project. If you or someone you know is struggling to find gifts for a child this year, please have them fill out the form below and come shop at our our FREE Holiday store. We will be busy setting up this weekend in anticipation of shoppers next week and weekend.

As we work to set up a free Holiday Store for families in need, please consider donating to Conway Caring Community. We are looking for donations of new or gently used toys, books, and children's crafting supplies. Conway Caring Community is currently requesting gently used toys, books and kid craft items, for use in our “Holiday Store”

These items will be cleaned, sanitized (if needed), repaired, and displayed so as to be available at Christmas , Easter, birthdays , etc. free of charge to area children and families.

Items can be dropped off at 101 N West St., Ossian IA 52161 or pick up can be arranged in Calmar, Spillville, Decorah and possibly other local towns.

Conway Caring Community is looking for a storefront, small home or large garage to store items and host a free Holiday Gift store for local families. We are currently collecting gently used toys, books and kid craft items, which we will make available at Christmas , Easter, birthdays , etc.

Ideally, would like to find a location in Ossian due to our home , but we would be more than happy to look at places in Calmar or Spillville . We are a nonprofit organization so are hoping to find a low or no rent building In which to make this venture come to fruition .
