Sarasota Crew utilizes competitive rowing to promote strong character, high integrity, positive self-concept, contribution to community, and a healthy lifestyle for all youth and adults in Sarasota County and its surrounding communities. We have Elementary school, Middle school, High school and Masters programs available.

When we designed our Sarasota Crew Masters Winter Symposiums, we wanted to offer something deeper than a typical weekend rowing camp…We wanted to build an immersive experience that transforms the way you think about movement, power, and longevity in sport.

Across our January and February sessions, you’ll get:
• Intensive on-the-water feedback + Immediate, small-group video feedback.
• Classroom workshops on rowing physiology, strength training, movement health, nutrition, mindset, rigging, and more.
• Direct access to Olympic-caliber and graduate-degree coaching staff.
• A community of Masters rowers who share your drive to learn.

Thanks for hosting Halloween Regatta 2026. We capped off the day with 7 middle school 8s racing and a busy day included 100 boats and over 200 athletes, many of whom raced 2 or 3 times (4 for a few of our amazing coxswain squad!). Left with plenty to be motivated by as we take a next step in our season.

Over 50 students learned to row, then put their skills to the test in an exciting 2,000m team relay!

First home regatta in the books! 🚣‍♀️😮‍💨💛
Nothing quite like race-day energy—the early morning nervous excitement, the call to the start line…and the finish, and the feeling of leaving it all on the water—together.

Proud of all of our rowers but a big shout out to all our novice youth for their first race and our adult team who represented Sarasota Crew at their first team regatta of the 26/27 season this weekend.
In the boat, cheering on the bank, lending hands before, during, and after…celebrating (and learning from) every stroke along the way.

Last youth summer camp starts on Monday! We have the resources to accommodate as many as want to come check it out for a week or two! We have close to 30 coaches during the summer months to give everyone the attention they need! Choose camp at either Osprey or Nathan Benderson Park

⭐️ Senior and 2-Time Captain, Spotlight ⭐️

Most memorable experience: My most memorable Sarasota Crew experience is the 12 hours bus ride to Georgia my sophomore year. My friends and I made a 13 minute long video of random content from the trip, and it was such a fun but slightly painful experience.

What she will miss most: I will miss my friends and all the memories we have created together the most.

Lesson learned from Crew: Crew has taught me self discipline, and how to be a strong leader. I learned how important it is to keep going no matter what obstacles are thrown in your path.

Next stop: Georgetown University
