🏈 Oskaloosa Youth Football – 5th & 6th Grade Tackle Football Registration is Open! 🏈

Are you ready to help build the future of football in Oskaloosa?

The 5th and 6th grade years are some of the most important years for young athletes who want to play football. This is the age where players begin learning the fundamentals that will stay with them throughout middle school, high school, and beyond.

Youth tackle football is about much more than wins and losses. It’s about teaching:
βœ… Proper tackling technique
βœ… Safe blocking fundamentals
βœ… Discipline and teamwork
βœ… Confidence and leadership
βœ… How to play the game the right way

One of the biggest misconceptions about youth football is that waiting longer makes players safer. In reality, learning proper technique at a younger age helps athletes develop good habits before the game becomes faster and more physical. Teaching heads-up tackling, body positioning, and safe contact techniques now can help reduce injuries and create better, safer football players in the future.

Our goal isn’t just to field a teamβ€”it’s to build a strong football culture in Oskaloosa. The more young athletes we can get involved, the stronger our youth, middle school, and high school programs will become. Every great football program starts with a solid foundation, and that foundation begins right here.

Whether your child has played before or is brand new to the game, we’d love to have them join the Osky football family.

🏈 Sign up today and help us continue building something special for the future of Oskaloosa football!
