The Denburger family's roots in the Jefferson Go Getters 4-H Club run deep! Randy was a proud member, as were his children, and now his grandchildren. Randy's involvement in 4-H in Mahaska county set up a lifetime of involvement and success in agriculture and livestock production; we are thankful he passed this down from generation to generation and look for it to continue long in to the future--Thank you Randy for the example you set for not only your family but all of us here in Mahaska County!

Dr. Elizabeth Moore got her start as a member of Mahaska County 4-H club, the Heartland Helpers! We are super proud of her and it is evident that her livestock background from her family farm and growing up showing cattle, participating in leadership and communication events through 4-H at the Southern Iowa Fair helped shape her pathway in to Veterinary Medicine. She received her DVM from Iowa State University and is now serving South Central and Southeast Iowa as a Cattle and Small Ruminant Vet--Way to go Liz!
