We need your help.

Every day, hundreds of people walk through our doors looking for support, recovery, housing, connection, and hope. Our team answers calls at all hours, provides recovery coaching, supports people leaving jail, responds to overdose related crises, and keeps our Recovery Center open 365 days a year.

The services we provide are made possible through a combination of grants, partnerships, and generous individual support from people who believe in recovery.

We are working to grow our monthly giving program because recurring donations provide the stability needed to keep services available when people need them most.

Earlier this year, participants in the Winnebago County Jail Recovery Pod came together to create this incredible mural.

We shared this video when the project was completed, but it feels like the perfect time to revisit it.

The mural represents hope, recovery, resilience, and the belief that every person has the ability to grow and change. It serves as a daily reminder to participants that their past does not define their future and that recovery is possible.

The STAR Program brings peer support, recovery coaching, groups, release planning, and ongoing recovery support directly into the jail. Every day, our team has the privilege of walking alongside individuals who are working to break cycles, rebuild relationships, and create a different path forward.

This mural tells that story better than words ever could.

Have you volunteered with us in the past and are eligible to volunteer? We'd love your help this weekend!

We're looking for volunteers to help staff our counter on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Most volunteer shifts are just 1½ to 2 hours long, making it easy to fit into your schedule while making a meaningful impact in our community.
