As I listened to the sermon this morning, God placed some things on my heart. This is something I felt I should share.

Many of us have gone through, or are going through, a season where we may not understand where God is in all of this. We have cried the tears. We have said the prayers. We have waited for an answer, and yet sometimes it still feels silent.

But silence does not mean absence. God has promised that He will never leave us nor forsake us. We may walk through hard seasons where we don't understand what He is doing or why He has allowed certain things to happen. And sometimes, we don't get the answer right away.

But His mercy still endures forever. His faithfulness has not changed.

Mary found her place at the feet of Jesus and chose the “good part.” The woman with the issue of blood knew that if she could only touch the hem of His garment, it would be enough.

Perhaps that's where faith brings us sometimes. Not to an explanation, but to His feet.

If He never gives me the answers I'm asking for, but gives me Himself, I have not been given too little.

If the highest place I reach is at His feet, then that is enough.

What a God! ❤️

Prayers needed for Judy's mom Betty. She fell on Tuesday and broke a rib and had a cut above her eye from her glasses breaking and got 2 stitches. She's pretty sore and has quite a bit of pain from the broken rib.

This Sunday morning Christopher is preaching. Sunday night is going to be worship (no message) and then going downstairs for snacks and cake to celebrate Dianne's 70th birthday. All are welcome to come and you are welcome to bring snacks to share. We will not be livestreaming the Sunday night service.

Chris, his dad Daniel (they attend FCC)and his sister need a different apartment. They need to move by September 4. They can afford $950 per month. They are looking for a 2 bedroom apartment.
