OYSC Family and Friends, our season's first games are finally upon us. Some reminders for everyone:

1. Do not print out your child's game schedule, and DO check it on a regular basis on our website. Game fields can and will change due to field conditions.

2. No player is getting drafted from an OYSC game to an MLS team nor are any scholarships on the line. Bad plays and questionable calls will happen. The ref you are thinking about yelling at? Chances are they are a minor and still learning. Take a breath and relax, everything is going to be ok.

3. There is absolutely NO PARKING on the grass next to the parking lots. This is a violation of county park rules and creates a dangerous environment. When/If parking lots get full, angle parking along the road that cuts through the park is permitted.

4. There are 4 clubs that use the park during the season, so just about every night it is going to be busy. Show up to your game early and anticipate that you will be unable to park near your game field. Ensure other family members know this as well.

5. All members of OYSC - coaches and board members alike - are volunteers. Please be sure to keep this in mind and thank them as you have the chance.

Highschool Families and Players - your season starts in June. At this time, teams have not yet been formed (registrations are still coming in as well). A coach will be in touch by the end of May.

OYSC Families and Friends, the soccer season is nearly upon us! For those that haven't yet... please register ASAP as all divisions are nearly full.

For everyone who has already registered and waiting to hear something... we are finalizing teams this week, finishing up locating volunteer coaches, with the goal that a volunteer coach would reach out by the end of the weekend with information. PLEASE be patient!
