Although technically paper is recyclable, few people know that shredded paper CANNOT be recycled. If you put shredded paper in your recycling bin, it will almost certainly end up in a landfill. The reason: Recycling sorting centers (aka Materials Recovery Facilities or MRFs) don’t recognize shredded paper as paper, so it gets diverted as non-recyclable and sent to the landfill. The one exception: Professional shredding services are the only industry equipped to recycle shredded paper.

Save your paper for the Great American Cleanup where we partner with to allow the community to shred all their paper for a donations.

Let’s go green!!!

The day started out like any other day. Get up, take a shower, eat breakfast and head to school. But, this day was different. It was the day the school actively began an educational program for environmental sustainability. The kids went all in!!!!
