Guinness's Run For The Health Of It Our event will be a 5-10k dog run/walk in Oshkosh WI on June 13th.

This event is sponsored by the Irish Setter Club of Milwaukee and partnered with AKC Canine Health Foundation to invest in cancer and epilepsy research.

I want to thank the runners and their dogs who run in our inaugural “Guinness’s Running For The Health Of It”. 2026 is now officially in the books and I learned a lot for next year. I will occasionally post something on this page so please follow us to get the latest updates for 2027. Of course our goal is to set a new world record of most dogs in a 5K marathon with all of the proceeds going to the AKC Canine Health Foundation for medical research. So feel free to share this page with all you friends.

Hey friends, What are you doing tomorrow, June 13? Why don’t you join us? Bring your dog and walk or run for a good cause. We are going to start at 7:00 am and you can run anytime as long as you start by 2:00pm. Run any distance you want. Tshirt is included in the entry fee.

If you are planning on running in the 5K next Saturday in Oshkosh but have not signed up www.iscmdograce.rsvpify.com or with the QR code you can enter at the event for $40 but more importantly please let me know how many people in your group so we will have the appropriate number of portholes and trash cans available. Weather as of Monday looks to be almost perfect for Saturday. Plus every runner and sponsor of our inaugural event automatically is granted ambassador status to help us promote the Guinness book of world record attempt in the years ahead

Exciting news! We will be at the Oshkosh Farmer’s Market this Saturday June 6th with over 45 raffle baskets ! Please come and visit us and help all dogs who suffer with cancer or seizure disorders. 100% of proceeds go to the AKC Canine Health Foundation who work with research universities and facilities worldwide. Many Oshkosh businesses have donated to our cause. You will find baskets from Parm,Oaks,Politos, West End Pizza, Fleet Farm, Discover Oshkosh, Pete’s Garage, Ruby Owl, Fletch’s,PetCo, and many more! Please see the attached photos for a listing of the basket contents. If you have any questions, please reach out to Mike at 920-573-5766. Ticket prices are $1 each, $5 for 6 tickets, $10 for 15 tickets, $20 gets 40 tickets and $50 get 120 tickets. The drawing will take place at noon on Saturday.
