54 drinks headed to JCD Elementary this morning!

We had someone wanting to treat the entire elementary staff to drinks, and we were happy to help make it happen!

Such a thoughtful way to show a little appreciation for the people who do so much for our kiddos. Thank you to the generous person who made everyone’s morning a little sweeter! ☕

There’s something special about gathering together, slowing down, and making space for community, worship, and encouragement.

This Sunday will be our third gathering, and we’d love for you to join us!

Donuts and coffee will be ready at 8:30 AM, with time to visit and get settled in. Worship and a message will begin at 9:00 AM.

Whether you’ve joined us before or this would be your first Sunday, you are welcome here. Come as you are, bring a friend, and spend the morning with us!

Okay, we need your opinion.

A local farmer stopped in and asked if we’d be interested in carrying his milk at the coffee shop, and we really love the idea of supporting someone local.

It’s A2 milk, it’s pasteurized, and it meets the requirements for legal retail sale.

The catch is that local milk costs quite a bit more than what we normally use, so we wouldn’t be able to make it our standard milk for every drink.

But what if we offered it as an upgrade?
Would you pay a little extra to have your latte, cappuccino, or favorite coffee drink made with locally produced A2 milk?

We’re just testing the waters right now, so let us know what you think. Would you choose the local milk option? Comment below if you would/wouldn’t! 🥛

A little Upper Room update! ☕️

Starting soon, our main food menu will close at 3 PM each day instead of 4:30 PM.

As a small business, we’re constantly trying to find the balance between serving you guys well and taking care of our team well too. Closing the kitchen a little earlier gives us time to get everything cleaned up and allows one of our baristas to head home once the kitchen is finished, rather than keeping extra staff here through the end of the day.

You’ll still be able to grab bakery items and drinks until close, so we’re definitely not shutting everything down at 3!

It may seem like a small change, but it makes a big difference behind the scenes for our little team. We really appreciate you guys understanding and continuing to support us as we figure out what works best for everyone! 🤎
