🎉 BIG NEWS! 🎉

We are so excited to announce that Rooted Recovery Foundation is officially a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization! ❤️

This is a huge milestone, and it means all donations are now tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Now the real work begins. Our mission is to provide hope and support to individuals and families facing difficult circumstances, and we can officially begin expanding our efforts to help those who need it most.

We are incredibly grateful for the support Rooted Recovery Foundation has already received. In just our first day, we've welcomed 57 followers and received our first donations toward our 501(c)(3) filing fee. 🌱 Exciting News! 🌱

Rooted Recovery Foundation is officially incorporated in Iowa, and we have received our EIN! We are now one step away from obtaining our federal 501(c)(3) nonprofit status, which will allow us to expand our impact and better serve survivors in our community.

Our next step is raising the $275 filing fee required by the IRS to obtain our 501(c)(3) designation.

💚🌱 Introducing Rooted Recovery Foundation 🌱💚

Today, we are proud to officially introduce Rooted Recovery Foundation.

Rooted Recovery Foundation was born from personal experiences, difficult journeys, and a deep understanding of what it feels like to face trauma, abuse, and life-changing challenges while struggling to find the support needed to move forward. Through those experiences, we saw firsthand the gaps that exist for survivors and families in crisis, and we knew we wanted to be part of the solution.

Our mission is simple:

To support survivors of domestic violence, sexual abuse, child abuse, and other forms of interpersonal violence by providing emergency assistance, fresh start resources, healing opportunities, education, and community support that help individuals and families rebuild safe, stable, and independent lives.

Some of the services and support we hope to provide include:

💚 Emergency assistance for survivors in crisis
💚 Household and personal care essentials
💚 Fresh start resources for individuals and families rebuilding their lives
💚 Support and referrals to community resources
💚 Educational programs and awareness initiatives
💚 Healing-centered activities and support opportunities
💚 Assistance with basic needs during times of transition and recovery

While we are still in the early stages of building this organization, we are already working hard to gather supplies and resources that will allow us to begin serving those in need.

We are currently accepting donations to help us build our startup inventory of essential items and supplies. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us move one step closer to supporting survivors in our community.

This mission is incredibly close to our hearts, and we are grateful to everyone who chooses to walk alongside us as we grow.

Together, we can help survivors put down new roots and build brighter futures.
