The Over The Rainbow Oz Community Garden received a local Grant recently to improve our ‘Trail’ for our gardeners to access their plots and for those who enjoy walking or doing family picnics/events!

Thank you to Braxton Taylor for hauling and spreading the clean rock chat to make this possible!

Huge Thank you to Jim, Johnny, & Dr Jeff (Osawatomie Pride Group) for all their work with the Tomato area's. (Burlap down, Rebar, Cages) and Jim Manning watering all the East Corn!

Tomorrow, Saturday, May 16…..All Hands on Deck to Install Tomato Cages/Rebar at 8:30am to 10:30am unless we finish earlier, will need several volunteers. Bring a drink…..we will provide donuts!

Interested in being a part of something special in our Community? The Oz Garden Club is a great way to give back and also help our youth achieve their Dreams! We are ‘old’ fashion in what we do through hard work & sweat plus we teach ‘Life Long’ skills.

With the way things are going with food prices what a great way to teach our youth about how to plant their own veggies to support their own families.

If this sounds like something you want to be a part of then leave a message for us. We also include children from other local Districts as well.

This is a partnership between Children their Parents or Guardians with the Oz Garden Club to make this work. We are not set up for drop off due to safety precautions.

Founded 2013…..We begin our 13th Season.

Over $34,000 in Scholarships raised in our existence & acknowledged for Post Secondary Education.

Thanks to some youngsters in our Club we were able to get another round of tomato & pepper plants in our plots!

Kudos to all the volunteers this weekend who sold or planted or worked the plots!
