Osawatomie City Lake Project: Osawatomie Community Fund We are a non profit called the Osawatomie Community Fund. Our focus is on local community betterment projects. The renovaton project includes many things.

We are currently focusing on the Osawatomie City Lake. The proposed plan is to have sand volleyball courts, a new playground for children ages 2-12 yrs. The project also includes a bridge, gazebos, parking, docks, and park ammenities such as; picnic tables, benches, grilles, and fire pits. For more details please see the concept drawing and photos. Since the beginning of the fund we have completed the replacement of the Shelter House roof and added to a paver patio to the Shelter House.

Here is the FAQ Post! If you have questions that aren't addressed in this please feel free to reach out. A friendly reminder...Please, let's be respectful.

1.) Do I have to pay to watch the fireworks?

Yes, Lights on the Lake is a ticketed event. You must have a ticket to enter the lake.

2.) Where do I purchase tickets?

Tickets are online only until the gate opens. We will have a cash option of $40 per adult. Get your tickets at: https://cityofosawatomie.ticketspice.com/lights-on-the-lake

3.) What is included in my ticket?

Your ticket will provide you access to all of the event activities including; bounce, face painting, balloon artist, smoothie bike, LIVE MUSIC featuring Multi-platinum Country Superstar SARA EVANS, SILVER BULLET, and Miss RAYELLE BALLOU for our NATIONAL ANTHEM. Your ticket will also give you access to Lights on the Lake's annual FIREWORK SPECTACULAR!

4.) What time do the gates open?

Gates open at 3 pm. Please have your tickets ready to expedite your entrance.

5.) How much are the tickets?

Adults 13+ are $30 each Children 12 and under are free. If you wait until the day of the event, tickets are $40 per adult.

6.) Can I bring chairs, blankets, and coolers?

Yes, please! This event is open seating. You may set up anywhere except the roads, emergency pathways, the dedicated VIP SECTION (unless you have a VIP ticket), and the FALL OUT AREAS (which will be marked off).

7.) Do you have handicapped parking?

Yes, please follow the parking attendants. They will guide you to the designated areas. You must have a handicapped placard or license plate.

8.) Can I re-enter if I need to leave?

Yes, Although re-entry is discouraged, if you come to the information pop-up, they can give you something to let you back in.

9.) Do I have to park inside the arena?

You may park anywhere that is not blocked off. (Please don't move the barricades. They are for your safety.) You may not park on the roads at all. You will be asked to move. The parking attendants will guide you.

10.) Can I take photos/videos?

Yes, However, professional equipment is not permitted.
