HAPPY FFA WEEK!!!

A spotlight of an awesome young Osawatomie FFA Alumni member! Way to represent yourself, your school, and your FFA Chapter! We are proud of you Grace!

Her FFA journey sparked a passion for agriculture.
K-State helped her turn it into a career. 🌾🥖

Grace Young reflects on her time in FFA: "FFA prepared me for success in college and life by giving me hands‑on experiences that strengthened both my technical and communication skills. Competing in agronomy taught me how to think critically and solve problems, while public speaking helped me learn to communicate clearly in any setting.
Earning my American Degree was especially meaningful. Teaching Kansas Corn lessons in my after‑school program showed me how to connect with students, guide their learning, and grow as a leader.
FFA did not just prepare me academically, it helped me grow into someone who leads with purpose, communicates with confidence and is not afraid to take on new challenges. "

As a double major in Bakery Science and Milling Science, she’s learned how grain becomes the foods we rely on every day — and after graduation, she’ll be putting that knowledge to work full-time at Ardent Mills.

From blue corduroy to industry leader — that’s the power of FFA. 💙

Have you seen these signs around town? Those are ours! We will be having a mattress fundraiser in the Mac Steele Gym on Sunday, March 8, 2026, from 10 am to 5 pm!

We are working with a company who has worked with other FFA chapters and they are awesome! They will be setting up their huge display in the Mac Steele Gym, we would love for you to stop by! The mattresses are the same you can find in big retailers at a lower price. The best part is, they split the profit with the Osawatomie FFA!!!

Another day to celebrate the amazing Osawatomie FFA members! These ladies competed in the ECD FFA Agronomy CDE! Today, the completed the following tasks:

Identifying 75 plants and seeds
Identifying 25 Plant Diseases, Pests, and Equipment
Answering 25 Agronomic Practical Application Questions
Completing a 20 question Crops related questions
Solving 5 Agronomic Calculations

The results are in!

B (Intermediate) Team: 2nd Place Overall!!!

It's that time of year again!!!! The Osawatomie FFA, in conjunction with some helpful contributors will be hosting our Annual Plant Sale! We will have a pre-sale in the high school greenhouse on Friday, May 2nd, from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm! If you miss the pre-sale, you can catch plants at the tracks according to the flyer! We appreciate all of your support! We are happy to help beautify your spaces and provide some great garden plants!

It's that time of year again!!! Our biggest Fundraiser is happening now through next Friday, October 13, 2024!!! If you are interested in any of our fruit, meat, spices, coffee, or other goodies, you can comment on this post and Mr. Brandt would be happy to send an FFA member your way!

Looking for something to do today? We are having a blast here at the Hillsdale Range and Training Facility! Come on by! Rounds are $10 Trap or S***t! For each round purchased, the FFA receives $3! We also have some baked goods ready to be purchased and tasted for a free will donation!

It's that time of year again! Kicking off the FFA year with Greenhand Conference!!! These Greenhands have spent the day learning more about FFA through workshops and opportunities! They had a blast and are ready for a fun year full of activities!!!

Today is our big day! We are here by the football stadium and Ozone selling our flowers! We have plenty of wax begonias and zonal geraniums in hanging baskets and small planters! We also have some 4 packs of ageratums, coleus, and veined verbena! We hope to see you today! We will be here until noon!

Day 2 of our Flower Sale has begun! Stop on by! We have plenty of hanging baskets and individual plants! Wax begonias and Zonal Geraniums! We also have some 4 packs of ageratum, bachelor button, veined verbena, and coleus! It's been a gloomy day. Come enjoy the sunshine and peruse our flowers! We'd love to see you! We will also be selling tomorrow, Saturday, May 13, from 8 am until noon! We hope to see you soon!
