Our little food pantry on 630 State street, Osage, IA, has a new edition! We have a shelf for produce. Take what you want and leave what you can. This little food pantry is to help the community. And the community is to help provide, too. Please if you have extra dry goods that you can donate, we would appreciate the help!

So happy to help our local food pantries!

We at the food pantry would like to make this post to thank the Mitchell County Salvation Army for their generous donation of $1000 in gift cards to Randy’s Neighborhood Market! We were able to purchase 600 cans total while they were on sale and we are looking forward to purchasing more items as they come available! We are so grateful to have the opportunity to fill our can shelves! Thank you for your generous donation!!!

❤️ Giving Back to Our Community ❤️

Because our community was so generous through Red Kettle donations, along with donations from local churches and service groups, our Salvation Army Extension Unit was able to give back to several other nonprofits throughout Mitchell County.

This year, we were proud to provide support to:

🎁 Osage Miracle Tree – Donation toward wrapping paper and dispensers
🎁 St. Ansgar Miracle Tree – Donation toward clothing to be given as gifts
🍽️ Senior Meals – Cedar Valley Seminary – Donation to provide meals for those in need
🥫 Mitchell County Food Bank – Grocery gift cards
🥫 North Cedar Food Bank – Grocery gift cards
🥫 Riceville Food Pantry – Grocery gift cards

In addition, our Extension Unit has been able to provide emergency assistance to more than 100 families and individuals in our communities.

None of this would be possible without the generosity and support of our community. ❤️ Thank you to everyone who remembers our Salvation Army Service Unit, donates to our Red Kettles, and helps us help others.

We’ll be back with our Red Kettles in November and December! 🎄❤️ Thank you for helping us continue to make a difference right here at home.

Thank you for the very generous donation!

❤️ Thank You for Your Generosity! ❤️

The St. Ansgar American Legion had a Salvation Army donation can at the Legion for the past few weeks, and thanks to your generosity, $275 was donated.

We were proud to match the full amount, bringing the total contribution to $550!

Thank you to everyone who donated and helped support the Salvation Army and our community. Your kindness truly makes a difference. 🇺🇸✨

Thank you Osage Randys Neighborhood Market and your customers for this amazing doantion!

We’d like to give a big thank you to everyone that rounded up for the Salvation Army. We were able to raise $1,508.29 thanks to your generosity. This is more than double last year’s total!

This does NOT include the donation total through the red kettle.
