We had ambitious plans for the garden this year, including expanding the garden beds, incorporating fruit bushes, and planting fruit trees. However, the impending addition of a new family member has taken precedence, making it challenging to complete these tasks by myself.
Reminder:The garden is for everyone, and ALL are welcome to contribute to its growth and maintenance. There are several perennials already planted and growing, including chives, oregano, thyme, and strawberries.

Banana peppers, eggplant, cucumbers are all ready today. There are very large green tomatoes and cantaloupe that will be ready soon.

How about a fundraiser sale? Help me clean out the greenhouse!

Used plant starting trays and pots. Several more than pictured and a lot of different sizes. Donations only (suggested donation of .50-$1 per pot or tray)

8 straight eight cucumber 🥒 plants in the ground along with a small archway trellis and a much needed fresh layer of mulch! (Thanks to the gentleman who went and bought two bags and brought them to us!) Also had a few helpers that were "watering the garden", but somehow they were the ones who ended up soaked 🚿

Thank you to whoever left the pink watering can! Made watering so much easier since there's no hose right now. I left it under the water spout for anyone else that wants to water the garden. Had a gentleman approach me and donate a small metal shovel and hand rake a few days ago as well, donations are what keeps the community garden going!

Thanks to the Burlingame school greenhouse for donating some unsold plants to the community garden! These tomatoes 🍅 and peppers 🌶️ are very tall, which means they can be buried a little deeper to grow a big root system. Hopefully I can get all these planted by the end of the week by doing a few each day. Always accepting volunteers who want to help 😃
