Whenever we have applicants that can't attend an Initiation on our normal Tuesday evening we will schedule an Initiation on a Saturday. This past Saturday, June 6, we welcomed 4 new members into our Lodge.
Thanks to all our Officers, Proposers and members that took time out of their Saturday to attend this special Happening.

16 NEW MEMBERS INITIATED

We had the distinct privilege and pleasure of initiating 16 American citizens into the Lodge this past Tuesday, May 19. At the very end of the Initiation the ER always asks new members why they joined. They will give their home town, occupation, etc. but the most rewarding answer we hear is “Because I heard the Elks do so much for this Community and I want to be a part of that”.

We had an incredibly beautiful day for our Golf Tournament on Sunday. We would like to thank all of our volunteers, the Golf Committee who met numerous times organizing the tournament and all the amenities that go along with it.
We want to thank all of our Sponsors - without them we couldn't be the success that we were. This is another great example of what our Communities think of our Lodge because they know what we do at the end of the day, or in this case, what and who we help with the proceeds of the tournament. From this tournament all the monies made will go to students for scholaships that need financial aid in their transition from high school to college.
After the tournament all the golfers enjoyed a meal prepared and catered by Doyle and Jess form JJ Twiggs. This is their second year and they do a great job.
