This is Lori.

Earlier this year, her home caught fire and in a matter of minutes, everything changed.

She made it out safely with her dogs, but her family lost nearly everything. They were even under contract to sell, just weeks from closing.

Since then, it’s been a lot of starting over. Finding a place to live. Navigating insurance. Rebuilding piece by piece.

Vicki Lloyd had the opportunity to deliver a check from the RE/MAX Charitable Foundation to help Lori and her family move forward.

It’s a reminder that real estate isn’t always about transactions. Sometimes it’s just about showing up for people when they need it most. ❤️

This year’s theme is the movie Up — so start planning those fun costumes! 🎈 We’re especially looking for one brave volunteer to dress up as Carl Fredricksen — who’s going to claim that honor?! Don’t worry… we’ll have helium-filled balloons for everyone to complete the look!

🎁❤️ Spreading joy right here at home! ❤️🎁

This year, the RE/MAX Lake of the Ozarks Charitable Foundation proudly adopted 10 local kids 👧🧒 for the holidays! Our team hit the stores 🛒🎄, picked out gifts with love, and delivered everything to Porter’s Ace Hardware 🎁— where the presents will be distributed and wrapped with care.

Giving back to our community is what fills our hearts the most. 💙✨We work here. We play here. We give back.

Giving back is at the heart of who we are 💙

In the 3rd Quarter, the RE/MAX Lake of the Ozarks Charitable Foundation proudly contributed $8,200 to local organizations serving our community.

Since 2011, we’ve been honored to give over $740,000 back to causes that make the Lake area stronger, safer, and filled with hope.
