✨ Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ ✨
What a beautiful and grace‑filled day for our parish family!
After Holy Mass at St. Mary Church, the faithful processed with our Eucharistic Lord through the streets of Orwell, praying the Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary as a public witness of love and devotion to Jesus truly present in the Most Blessed Sacrament.
At the intersection of Maple and Main Streets, Father Kevin offered a Eucharistic blessing over our parish territory and upon all who witnessed this moment of faith. We then returned to the church for Benediction and the repose of the Blessed Sacrament, hearts full and grateful.
Following the liturgy, parishioners and guests enjoyed a delicious potluck luncheon, sharing fellowship and reflecting on how deeply the celebration touched them.
🙏 Our heartfelt thanks go out to so many who made this day possible:
- Altar Servers for your reverence and dedication
- Orwell Police and Fire Departments for providing safe and seamless traffic control
- Daughters of Mary for preparing the main course and organizing a wonderful luncheon
- Knights of Columbus for stepping forward to serve in the Eucharistic canopy detail
- Deacon Izzo (DOY) for providing the beautiful canopy that honored Our Lord in procession
- Arleen Kovats for digitally capturing the celebration.
May all who participated be richly blessed by Our Lord for their service, devotion, and joyful witness during this year’s Corpus Christi celebration. 💛
