Thank you SO much Ortonville Post Office and Ortonville Community for the incredible abundance of food that was collected during Stamp Out Hunger on Saturday, May 9. A total of 14.5 large post office bins (as seen in post) were filled with donations! At times on Saturday, it was pouring rain, and that did not stop the flood of donations that OCEF receieved! A huge shout out to Lisa Harrison of the Ortonville Post Office for coordinating the event, all of the volunteers who helped, and all of the generous residents who donated to help make this day a huge success!

Thank you to all who helped with our Easter sort on Sunday! We finished in record time. Thank you to the community for all of the generous OCEF food donations for Easter also!

The generous community of Ortonville comes through once again!! During our 3 hours of Easter food collection at Bueche's Food World this morning, the truck was filled to the brim! We also collected $500 in Bueche gift cards, $296 cash and $200 in checks! 2 Corinthians 9:7b "God loves a cheerful giver." We sure had a lot of cheerful givers today and were blessed with good weather too. Thank you for your kindness and generosity to help our neighbors in need have a blessed Easter!

Easter is just around the corner! These are the items we are looking for to help our OCEF clients this Easter. The OCEF truck will be at Bueche's Food World this Saturday March 21 from 9 am to noon for donations. Also you may drop off donations at the Brandon Library or the bin right inside Bueches entrance anytime between now and April 27. Monetary donations can also be made at www.oceffoodpantry.org

Another shout out to Ron and Steves Christmas !! In the 6 years they have been donating their light show money to OCEF Food Pantry , they have donated a total of $40,455.79!!!! Wow!! We appreciate you both so much! We can't thank you enough for your kindness and generosity!

God Bless Ron and Steves Christmas for their kind and generous hearts!! And for all of the time and effort they put into their light show to bring joy to our community and spread Christmas cheer! This year they raised and donated $10,052 to OCEF! What an incredible donation! We are beyond grateful!

A huge thank you to everyone for such a wonderful season! Your generosity remained strong right until the very end, helping us reach a new record of $10,052 while handing out 4,404 candy canes. With 72 families needing assistance this season, these funds will go a long way toward restocking the OCEF food pantry.

​It was fantastic seeing so many familiar faces and meeting new friends. We wish you all the best for the year ahead. Stay warm, stay safe, and see you again in 306 days!

Ron and Steve have an amazing display of lights to music! It is a beautiful, fun, and festive display for people of all ages to enjoy each Christmas season. It is at 1460 S Sashabaw Rd, Ortonville. We are so blessed that each year when people give money in appreciation of their light display, Ron and Steve donate the money to OCEF Food Pantry !
