🌊⚠️ Hurricane Erin Safety Alert ⚠️🌊
Hey everyone — with all of this talk about Erin, we need to stress this:
➡️ The surf will be big, messy, and dangerous through Friday, with storm surf conditions and strong rips.
🚫 Only surfers with very advanced hurricane/storm surf experience should even consider paddling out Wednesday–Friday.
🚫 If you don’t have the training, fitness, or equipment — you’ll only be putting yourself and others at risk.
Don’t be a hero. Remember the saying:
“When in doubt, don’t paddle out.”
Your safety — and that of first responders — matters most.
Heads up: Many towns have already prohibited swimming through Friday, and some may extend restrictions to surfing as well. Always check with your local lifeguards or PD before heading to the beach.
