Valentines Day is ONE WEEK AWAY!!

Darwin is eager to find out who his valentine will be next week!

For a $10 donation, you can send a Valentines Day card to your favorite horse on the ranch to let them know how loved they are! Each card will have the senders name on them and they will be placed in the barn.

Donations will go directly to the horses everyday care including but not limited to medical care, farrier care, dentistry, grain and supplements to keep them happy and healthy!

This kid has a heart of gold and is one of the most determined young ladies I have ever met!
She surprised me at her lesson last night with a $1230 donation that she raised through various type of fundraising including hot cocoa stand, craft sales, and a 50/50 raffle. Her donation is going to help fund the construction of our indoor arena.
Paytyn is a girl after my own heart. When passion meets determination, it is a force to be reckoned with. Thank you so much Paytyn for your heard work, I’m so proud of you!!!

Hold your horses!

Can you tell who’s under all those layers!

It sure was a cold weekend but not to worry! All your favorite 4 legged friends were well taken care of and stayed warm all weekend!

So what did we do to make sure our equine partners made it through the cold snap with only a few frozen whiskers?

1. Blankets! All the horses outside worse two blankets and the horses inside wore one.
2. Hay! Horses can create their own body heat and stay warm when they munch on some hay!
3. Water! The horses outside had their heated water tubs to promote drinking and the horses inside had water buckets wrapped in hay and blankets to prevent freezing! They also had their breakfast and dinner soaked in warm water to promote digestion and hydration!
4. Electrolytes! Every horse got electrolytes daily to encourage them to drink water and stay hydrated!
