Community Special Guest at The CubHouse this Wednesday!

This Wednesday during late play (2–5pm), we’re excited to welcome Annica with The Sunflower Guide as a community special guest at The CubHouse.

Anni is a local and loves her community,
She mentioned this is the only nation wide resource service for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
It’s Free to access there listing and free one on one resource searching.

For the kids, she will have fun, hands-on activities:
Sensory sand stations for all ages, along with some coloring sheets designed just for little ones.

Community bonus:
The last hour of open play (4–5pm) will be free and open to the public. If you don’t have a CubHouse membership yet and want to come check us out, this is the perfect time to join in. Make sure you book your time online if you plan to come this last hour because we will fill up fast.

Grab your favorite stuffed animal and head to The CubHouse for Stuffed Animal Week!
This week at our Creation Station, little ones can make matching picnic hats, one for themselves and one for their stuffed animal! Then, head over to our cozy picnic area for an imaginative picnic adventure together.
Don’t have a stuffed animal? No problem! Your little one can choose one of our animal friends from the Vet play area to join in the fun.
We can’t wait to see all of the special stuffed animal friends that come to visit the CubHouse this week!

NEW at the Creation Station!
This week, little adventurers can create their very own camping scene using our laminated campsite background and movable camping characters and accessories!
Kids will use Velcro dots to build a one-of-a-kind adventure by placing campers, a canoe, and more anywhere they choose on their scene. They can rearrange the pieces again and again while creating their own camping story.
For Father’s Day, children can also choose to add the special sign:

We love that this activity allows every child to create something meaningful for the special people in their lives while encouraging imagination, storytelling, and fine motor skills.
